Waitemata Endoscopy is a joint venture partnership between a team of leading surgeons and physicians and Southern Cross Healthcare Ltd. Our purpose built Endoscopy Units in the Southern Cross North Harbour campus and West Auckland has been developed to provide a comprehensive Endoscopy service to patients both on the North Shore, West and across greater Auckland.
About the role
Due to growth, we are looking for our new member to join this amazing team. Our purpose is to provide exceptional endoscopy care at every opportunity. This is a permanent role at our private day stay facilities and includes caring for patients at each stage of the patient journey, including pre-assessment, pre-procedure, doctor assist in the procedure room and post-procedure recovery care, as well as patient education to ensure a safe and smooth discharge home.
Most importantly you will provide a high level of professional and empathetic patient care with a genuine focus on our patient’s wellbeing every step of the way. Further to this, your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will ensure you provide top quality clinical care and customer service to all patients, family members, and our multidisciplinary team.
Our hours are Monday – Friday (occasional Saturdays), with rostered shifts between 06.30am-8pm and usually includes 9/10 hour shifts or as flexibility to the service’s needs requires. This role could either be full-time or at least 0.75FTE part-time for the right person.

About you
The successful applicant will be a team focused, positive and flexible individual who is capable of working in a busy medical environment. To be considered for this role you must have a NZ Practising Certificate and at least 3 years clinical experience preferably in an endoscopy or surgical setting.
