Spring Maker/Machinist

- $32-$40 per hour depending on experience
National Springs & Wire Products manufacture a massive range of products that are in just about every industry imaginable. Business is growing and we are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive team member to help push our small manufacturing company to the next level.
An exciting opportunity is available for either an experienced Spring Maker or Machinist to join this fun and hardworking team. Work will be varied using a range of materials and machines and although we are open to background, the type of person we are looking for will ideally come with the following skills & experience:
- NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification.
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on the job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
- Either a Spring Maker or experienced Machinist/Tool Maker in a production setting
- CNC programming/operating and manual mill and lathe operation
- Motivation to take ownership and deliver a high standard of work
- A high degree of accuracy and precision in everything you do.
- Strong team spirit and the willingness to learn
